Welcome and thank you for visiting.

I am Everett and my purpose is to assist people in supporting themselves to heal. Human beings are designed with their own, innate healing system. My goal is to connect people-- willing to learn, to their potent powers. Bowenwork is helpful for maintaining balance within the body as well as immediately activating healing in emergencies or crises.  My background and education is in Public Health and emergency medicine, as a paramedic.

I will come to your location, treating you as a whole person while listening to your story. I will provide appropriate Bowenwork procedures until you feel relief, relaxation, and better than before I arrived. Thank you for trusting me with your well- being.

As your mobile Bowenwork Practitioner, my mission is to:

  • Eliminate access barriers individuals and families experience when receiving preventative healthcare.

  • Provide Bowenwork sessions to those open and committed to effective, profound healing.

  • Bring a healing presence to any environment while maintaining safe boundaries.

  • Wake the healing systems with-in us all and therefore have no permanent clients.

The Philosophy & Practice Of Bowenwork

The purpose of a Bowenwork session is to activate the innate healing mechanisms within the body so that, given time, the autonomic nervous system will self-regulate, energy will move more freely, and the body will heal to the extent it is able.

The work is gentle on the client’s body. In line with Bowenwork’s overarching philosophy of “Less is best,” practitioners aim to provide only enough inputs to elicit the body’s healing response. The number of inputs and length of the rest periods are determined for each client during each session; hence sessions do not have a fixed duration but rather can vary from a few moments to an hour, with the rest periods generally taking more time than the hands-on work.

Responses in the nervous and energetic systems can continue for up to 10 days after each Bowenwork session. Typically sessions are therefore scheduled a week or two apart to allow these processes to complete before providing new input. The client is given self-care advice about staying appropriately hydrated, performing targeted gentle exercises daily, and seeking advice from other health-care providers as needed.

The work is also easy on the practitioner’s body, in large part because it does not include sustained pressure or repetitive motions. As a result, many Bowenwork practitioners are able to continue practicing for as many years as they desire without suffering overuse injuries.

Who Is Bowenwork For?

Bowenwork is gentle on the body, effective and appropriate for anyone to receive, including those with disabilities, newborns, highly trained athletes, pregnant people and the elderly. Each person responds differently to a Bowenwork session, according to their own body’s need and ability to heal.

Anyone experiencing the following could benefit from Bowenwork:

Anxiety, depression, auto-immune diseases, chronic or acute neck/back pain, repetitive stress injuries, migraines/headaches, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, chronic or acute TMJ/pelvic/knee/ankle/wrist joint issues, hernia, sciatica, COPD, asthma, allergies, sinus issues, colic, indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, bedwetting, PMS, cramps, mastitis, prostate issues, infertility, tinnitus, and more.
